On one hand, the lyrics are straight from the movie-- on the other hand, they apply to so many things that happen in our lives. You're a wonderful storyteller-minstrel, all of it flows, the music is superb, and your voice fits into this melody perfectly.

I suppose I told you already but here it is again and I do agree with Mojo about it being the natural way it should go somehow. Comfort is good. Your voice does tell this story beautifully. Great arrangement and mix. Just those lyrics are a pece of art. Great work and I'm looking forward to more of your own stuff so get writing!

KING!!!! Wonderful song. Love the slide....Gonna change the strings on my Dobro now. Good harmonies too. Great story Howard. Such an old feel to this. Are you sure you didn't write this in 1966? Your solo is nice and tasty too. Meet me in Missouri in 24 hours. We gotta jam together! The NoSmo legacy continues!

Wow !! First of all, I LOVE the guitar tones in this track, you always record guitar well but this is possibly your best sounding guitar tones yet. If you had put a phaser on the arpegiatted guitar intros and when vocals are not in play, together with some tom fills, you would definately have the Small Faces !!! Early Floyd, yes. Although I love the synth line, it does sound a little out of place on first listen, giving it a sudden burst of Marillion or ELP, but it grows on you and adds to the uniqueness of the track because Syd Barrett Floyd (See Emily Play, Arnold Layne etc)/and Small Faces is the main vibe going on here, although make no mistake, it is easily identifiable as a quality Howard original. I might also add, that your voice is in fine form too here and the drums, as always, punchy and well performed.

Howard this just phenomenal..I have to say that I'm liking your originals more than your covers..They have so a great feel to them..Not that your lacking on covers, you know what I mean(there awesome of course),just that this sounds so intimate and pure man...great track..I have a few things i would work the level maybe a bit different as far as what sounds like a distorted guitar in the back ground and vox level and eq i would tweak a bit on the mids and bring the vol down.(It is a bit loud in mix vol). But thats just a matter of my own taste..This isgreat!!man another hit indeed!

This has a sense of peace and innocence that really appeals - somewhere between the Moody Blues and early Floyd but with a slice of originality of your own. A very pleasing listen.

Wow...the slide in the intro is spectacular....
Very very catchy vocal melody line.
This has an aura of the late 1960's pop groups like The Turtles or The Birds.
I believe this is my favorite original that you've put together.
There's just something really special about this track.
Very very nice work.

Nice, if not great track. Loving the synth line in the middle, it gives the track some extra spice. The lyrics and vocals are the best you've done so far, in my opinion. I really like this song !

Howard, I'd know that voice anywhere
Didn't realise till now, how distinctive it actually is
The backline is faultless (no surprise there obviously)
Class composition from the man
Played with style. Love it babe

Cool tune & great harmonies! I really like the way your voice sounds on the harmonies. I don't like to compare artists to other artists, but This song reminds me a bit of early Pink Floyd (and Rick Wright). Beautiful, dreamy slide guitar. The synth passages during the guitar solo really caught my attention - nice touch! And you play the drums quite well too! Hey, you clearly have talent & I really enjoyed listening to this.

Nice vox "There's no one who will hear your words." They may listen but they will not hear. At least that's the way it seems. Good arrangement and well recorded and mixed.
