Ah...
Listened earlier while logged out...
This is one of my fav EVER if not THE fav EVER Track by ELP!!!
(Nice to see Dad got that in first!!! )
This is a really superb re-production an to say you did it all yourself too...
The drums really do stand-out but what I like best is the analog synth toward the end - you really have done that justice... the panning - the portamento even the sound...
I really enjoy this listen - WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!

Ooh, I remember this song....
This sounds really really close to the original.
The reverb on the vocals is perfection.

Only critique, is that the drums stand out too well. The performance is outstanding, but in terms of mixing and production, they don't seem to blend into the rest of the track. I think all it needs is maybe an EQ adjustment. Just a thought, otherwise this is an outstanding rendition.

Of geez, I remember that wild-ass solo at the end
I believe you've captured that solo as close to perfect as could possibly be hoped for.

I love this song and almost all the production elements. I agree with Spike a little in that the drum performance is great but it seems a little too up front compared to the backing music, a touch of reverb to put it back in the mix might make it sound even greater - superb performance though .
Also one or two small clipping peaks but very isolated in what is a very good mix overall.
I think the synth and your voice is better sounding than ever and that's saying something given your excellent standards.
I always liked this song. I am a bit part ELP fan rather than a full blown collector, but appreciate this really great rendition.

The drums sound great to me,if ya need to move them back in the mix at all,it would
be just slightly..Great vocal sweet harmonies Nicely done on the guitar work rhythm and lead
now I have the same question as Henri~You have a moog?awesome job on that part!
very enjoyable listen.

One of the greatest songs ever... and you really pulled it off. And I can't download it. But I can playlist it. This just carries me away... and I'm not sure I'm coming back. Beautiful track! (P.S. I like the drums the way they are, but I'm just a lowly listener. )

This song brings me back to when I first got married to my husband and we used to wake up to classic rock music on the radio. You did everything flawlessly in this cover. Your mellow voice gives the cover a nice, cool flavor. What I like about this song is that all of the instrumentation sounds so nice and clear. I love those synthy sounds at the end. Excellent cover! A+

This is amazing, eat your heart out ELP. You can hardly tell the difference
Doing a cover can sometimes be much harder than performing your own tracks, you have to be more precise, as you can tell with this Lovely song & the synth just spot on
Great workmanship

wow, this is a very successful cover attempt! it s always very hard to make a decent cover, to give the taste of the original with the cover, but you nailed it so nicely, i can evenlisten to this instead of the original one .
firstly, the production is really clean. every instrument and vocals are recorded very cleanly and well heard. the drums are maybe just a little high on volume, imho..but it doesnt bug me at all. i liked vocal harmonies very much and vocals in general, and in the end the synth just killed me how did you give the exact sound man? the solo and the tone was really cool.
in general, it was one of the few successful covers i've heard so far, which can manage to give the exact taste of the song, with great quality.
